Right, we are back. Day 69. Palayoit. Today is Sunday, and I hope that you had a beautiful Shabbos Parshis Akev. Let's jump right in. We are continuing the topic of Chesed kindness. Let's say you wanted something. How would you want to do that to your friend? Don't be so concerned about the physical exertion involved because realize you're gonna get reward based on the amount of exertion. A person can be uh take glory in his wealth. How do you glorify the wealth that you had by giving to duck, by doing chesed, doing kindness with the money that Kheshbar gracefully bestowed? So you have Ashri Eno Shyasa praiseworthy someone who does this. Right? It's so praiseworthy for someone to give up his own money that he worked for on his own, right? And now he gives that up. That shows the level of amuna and it shows tremendous level of chesed la voz, chin, fach, or giving a loan for that matter. Right, or to use your money to purchase something that will be needed for others, something that's common that people will need, and you'll be able to now lend it to them. You know, this may be another term for a gamach or something like that. Allah upon him it says, that type of wealth is gonna last forever. It's gonna be a great honor in this world and the next. For something so insignificant, you could purchase a world of eternity. Let's say you purchase some type of plaster as tool or other building tools in order, and you purchase them in order to now lend to others. You be the guy that people come to and ask for things, and then you obviously open your heart and open your wallet, open your tool drawer and be able to give to them, you're doing a tremendous mitzah. Um, you're gonna get blessings from the borrower. Vitzabashem Ito Essa Brach and Hashem will give you blessings as well. That's pretty good. However, in their great sinfulness, there are some Jewish women who act miserly. Sometimes a woman will act in a miserly way and she'll refuse even small, insignificant things she won't want to give, right? This is like the story of Saddam where she wouldn't even want to give Aisha's law wouldn't even want to give um salt, right? Mia Isha Khafitz Chesed said, Who's the man who desires uh kindness? Um a person, a father, should educate his daughter to be a kind-hearted woman, to be someone who's a giver and someone who gives who does kindness. Not to turn away somebody who is oppressed, uh, the alticeu rekam, never to turn someone empty-handed. Says the Palayah, and Hashem is going to repay those who good do those who do good deeds to others, Hashem will repay him sevenfold. Uh, the achlu as chukam, and they'll receive reward. Says the Palayoids, the Ulam, Chiyuva Rama al-Makabal Chesed. There's an obligation that is upon uh those who receive the kindness as well, meaning there's an obligation to be kind to others, but the one who's receiving the kindness, he too has an obligation. What is that? He shouldn't act in a way where he closes the doors, um, missed opportunities, right? He he where he closes the doors on those who perform kindness. Right, not paying back if someone gave you a loan, so you were the recipient of a chesed, so now you must pay it back, right? Or let's say you borrow something um and you're not careful to return it in a timely fashion. That's also a mistake. In the condition that the item was given to you, the you have to give it back in that condition. Don't give it back in a worse, uh worse off condition. Um, right, you can't don't don't make others who did a kindness to you regret their kindness to you. Uh me, echbe, somebody who's wise, he anticipates the ramifications of what his actions are going to produce. Right? You make sure every time you do something that you're not going to regret the previous, you want to do something in a way you're not going to regret previous good deeds that you've done. Also, you don't want to come to transgress the prohibition of not putting a stumbling block in front of a blind person. Whenever there's a reason to suspect that people are being dishonest. So yeah, or if la rey o la achiv, you shouldn't allow yourself to become a guarantor for that person. Because again, you might come to regret it. So be raised in a you have to be a khachim when you when you do kindness. You have to try to be able to see what's going to happen over here. You should only land if there's if it's done with a collateral and if there's a legal document, proper documentation, the khul kayitzibaza, and other similar uh instances. Just because he sees that some foolish people act improperly, right? And they consume the money of others, they take advantage of others. Um, so this type of person, right? This um person will never refrain from doing good to lend a pauper at a time of his need. He's always gonna be a giver. A filu below mashkun beyadoin beyodo mashgun, even if it's done without a collateral, the pauper doesn't have something to give to him, he's still gonna give. Right? This comes from a level of a muna. You realize that okay, it's fine, he doesn't have to give me a mashgun. Um, you have a belief that you're taking care of this poor person, and Hashem will make sure you're okay. Uh Uvli Shum suffix, Shemisham lookarin forever, right? This type of person has absolutely no doubt that Hashem is gonna pay him back. Somebody who lives with this, so great for him in both worlds, and you won't come to regret um the actions that you've done, meritorious actions, positive actions that you've done, you won't chasham come to regret those decisions. Let's all remember, Ulam Chesed Ibana, this world is built on kindness, any opportunity that we have to do kindness to others, whether it's with lending something, whether it's our money, or if we are the recipients of kindness, to be do so to make sure that we're not being a cuff. We told them that we're denying good, but rather we're doing such in a way we're accepting, we're returning things the way it was given to us, etc. Then Ritz Hashem, Uilum Chasid Ybanah, we're going to build a world, a society on kindness, and it's going to be a much better, holier, happier place.
